Scrapbooks (2 v.), include: v.1) "Chicago Tribune scrap book," 1917-1938, with newspaper clippings about religion, the Episcopal Church in Mich., especially in Grand Rapids (Mich.), Bishop Geo. D.N. Gillespie (1819-1909), poetry, cartoons, miscellaneous, and national politics; v.2) "Scrap book," 1927-1944, with newspaper clippings, programs, and some correspondence about Mich. and national politics and politicians, including Michigan governors Van Wagoner, Comstock, Bruckner, and an obituary for Ferris, obituaries, events, elections, and the Women's Woodrow Wilson Club, the Democratic Party of Michigan, and the Michigan League of Women Voters. Both v. are extremely acidic and fragile.
